Apenheul is now closed. In 2012 Apenheul is opened daily from the 28th of March to the 28thth of October.

Opening hours in 2012

From the 28th of March  to the 30th of June
10.00 am  - 5.00 pm 

From the 1st of July to the 31st of August
10.00 am  -  6.00 pm 

From the 1st of September to the 28st of October
10.00 am to 5.00 pm

Apenheul is situated less than 45 minutes from Utrecht and  Nijmegen. And from Amsterdam you can walk amongst the primates within the hour.

Directions to Apenheul are well-indicated in and around Apeldoorn. There are sufficient parking facilities near the zoo.

From the car park you cross the street and you walk straight onto the pavement. Follow the path on the left alongside the pond, in the direction of Apenheul.

Call 0900-9292 (€ 0,72 p.m.) or plan your visit at www.9292ov.nl. Every fifteen  minutes there is a bus from the train station in Apeldoorn  to Apenheul.
