Frequently asked questions season ticket

Do I need a passport photo for my season ticket?
A passport photo is printed on each season ticket. You may choose to upload a photo to your account. Don’t have a digital passport photo? You can have your picture taken at our visitor reception and we will then print it on your season ticket.

My child is 2 years old. When does he/she need a season ticket for Apenheul?
Children up to 2 years of age may visit Apenheul free of charge. They don’t need a season ticket. When your child turns 3, you pay the children’s fee. Is your child turning 3 in the coming open season of Apenheul? You can then consider buying a (friendly priced) season ticket in advance.

When do I receive the discount vouchers?
You can collect the vouchers during your next visit to Apenheul in 2019. In 2019, Apenheul is open on 30 and 31 March and from 6 April until 3 November.

I have renewed my season ticket. Do I keep the same pass?
Yes, you can keep your pass. Except when it features a gorilla, in which case we will swap your pass for a new one when you next visit us.

How can I change my personal details?
You can change your details by:

  • Logging in here.
  • In your personal account you will see a grey pencil next to your name. Click on it.
  • A field with your current details will appear. You can change them here.
  • Click ‘save’ to save your changes.

I haven’t received any login details. Now what?
It could be that we don’t have your (correct) email address. In that case you can send an email to info@apenheul.nl. Include your name, your date of birth and the email address you wish to use for your account. We will then update your account and send you the login details.

I have lost my login details. Now what?
You can request your login details.

We will send you the login details by email. Please note: Have you entered a different email address than known by us? In that case we cannot send you any login details. If you send an email to info@apenheul.nl including your name, date of birth and the email address you wish to use for your account, we will make sure you can log in.

I can’t log in with the password you sent me by email. Now what?
It’s best to copy the password from the email you received from us containing the login details. Make sure not to copy any spaces. Still not able to log in? In that case send an email to info@apenheul.nl with your question and your login details.

I don’t see the login page on the website. How is that possible?
It could be that your internet browser isn’t sufficiently up to date. It is always advisable to update it in view of internet security. It is likely that the problem is then also solved. If it still remains impossible to log in, try it on https://tickets.ticketcounter.nl/apenheul/account/login/en-us.

When I log in, I only see myself and not my family members. How is that possible?
You and your family members probably received separate accounts. We can combine you and your family members’ accounts, allowing you to do everything in one account. Please send an email to info@apenheul.nl. Include the email address you wish to use for the account and your name, the names of your family members and your dates of birth.

I renewed my season ticket. When I log in, I see the renew button. Is that correct?
The renew button is always visible, even if you already renewed your season ticket. The name of your season ticket indicates the season for which it’s valid. Does is say ‘2019 season ticket’, for example?  Then it’s valid for the entire season of 2019. In that case you don’t have to click the renew button.
